Announced on YouTube’s blog last week, Analytics will replace YouTube Insight, which previously monitored viewer engagement.
Drilling down
Some of the new features available on Analytics include an improved overview that displays key information more quickly, the ability to see which videos are generating the most views and subscriptions and audience retention reports.
YouTube has also updated its Creator Playbook detailing the changes.
Who’s Watching What
Google-owned YouTube is the world's second most popular search engine, and recently surpassed 20 billion video views per month.
YouTube Analytics will help business and brands to more accurately track their how their content is being consumed and shared by customers.
