YouTube has just updated its ads platform to give users more information about products before making a purchase.
Moving marketplace
The new feature, dubbed TrueView, works with YouTube's Cards platform to display additional data about products, including links to brand websites.
YouTube says brands using TrueView have already seen a rise in sales. For example Sephora saw 80% more users considering their products after using TrueView.
Shopping cart
The feature works on mobile and desktop, and is linked to Google's Merchant Centre.
With video now one of the most shareable forms of content on social, any features assisting brands with views and conversions is likely to be popular.
