Twitter has celebrated one year of mobile app promotions by announcing a range of features including video support.
#HappyBirthday
Twitter announced the milestone and update in a blog post.
"A year ago, we launched mobile app promotion to help marketers drive cost-effective app installs and engagements.
"Along the way, we’ve enhanced the product suite with new targeting, creative and measurement features – enabling our advertisers to more effectively connect with the right audience on Twitter," wrote Sherene Arjani, Product Marketing Manager, Revenue.
New toys
Twitter announced three new beta features, Video App Card, Optimised action bidding, and Cost per install bidding.
Video App Cards allow brands to promote their app with a video ad, while Optimised action bidding and Cost per install bidding are designed to give marketers lower cost-per-installs, greater control and increased ROI.
Next big thing?
Twitter says marketers will soon be able to deliver more targeted ads to mobile users across Twitter partner apps on more than 1 billion devices.
Sounds big. Stay tuned.
