A new report reveals that teen favourite Tumblr is now the fastest growing social network.
Tumbling along
The report from Global Web Index shows that Tumblr's active user base increased by 120% over the past six months.
Making up the rest of the field are Pinterest (57% growth), Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and Google+.
Interestingly, the report lists Facebook as the slowest growing network – although with over 1 billion users some might argue there isn't a lot of room to grow.
Upstart
The report bodes well for Yahoo-owned Tumblr, which has recently begun dabbling in advertising options for brands.
As as a firm favourite with teens, expect marketers to be jumping over themselves to get on the Tumblr train this year.
