Android have users have just gained another bragging point over their iOS counterparts.

It goes by the name of Snowball.

Snowball is an Android app that essentially works as a universal inbox for all the major messaging apps.

This means no more switching and flipping between Facebook Messenger, Twitter, Snapchat, WhatsApp, WeChat, SMS and all the rest.

Snowball brings everyone together neatly on the Android homescreen.

The idea behind bringing all the fragmented social platforms into one place is elegant in its simplicity. And makes you wonder why it hasn’t been done before.

So why the Android first launch? Snowball works by plugging into the Android system, rather than each platform’s authentication process.

This streamlined process works a treat, but at this stage the app isn’t able to integrate so deeply into iOS.
