Tech start-up Completed wants to make it easier to rank business professionals in your surrounding area.
Completed competes with LinkedIn
Rather than rate a company as a whole, this new service is looking to rank the individuals within in an effort to redefine the hiring and job search process.
Following a month’s worth of beta testing, Completed has built a user base 150,000 strong and wants to bring Yelp-style ratings to the forefront of their business model.
Countering LinkedIn’s network heavy approach, the new competitor is trying to bring quality accountability into the fold and promote constructive feedback.
Completed shoots for meteoric meritocracy
Where LinkedIn allows for friends and acquaintances to promote one and other, this new approach seeks to solely focus on an individual’s abilities.
The new endeavour isn’t looking to fan any flames or post gripes against past working relationships, thanks to a strict policy prohibiting inflammatory remarks. It’s all about the work.
Users will also be able to engage with reviewers to follow up on negative reviews they feel are unwarranted.
Do you think this Yelp-style approach to reviewing professionals will yield constructive results? Give us your thoughts in the Comments.
