Google is partnering with PayPal to make transactions across its many services a seamless process.
Just need your deets
Users may notice the ability to enter PayPal details to their Google Play accounts and pay bills and services all through one platform.
The new payment rollout won’t just lend itself to Gmail, YouTube, and Google Store, but peer-to-peer transfers as well.
Further integration is being made possible thanks to Google’s other global payment partners such as Braintree, Cybersource, Mastercard, Stripe, Vantiv, and Visa.
Keeping butts in seats (metaphorically)
This latest phase of digital monetisation and transacting is an effort to keep users from having to use multiple apps to conduct business. One process to bill them all.
According to PayPal COO Bill Ready, “We are always looking for ways to improve the experience and to make payments even more seamless and secure”. It sounds like they're making good on that boast.
