A new campaign created by Clemenger BBDO Adelaide for snack food company Fantastic is seeing how far people will go for a free pack of Delites chips.
Challenge pending
Playing on the notion that people might do surprising things for a pack of Delights, Clemenger placed an interactive vending machine, the ‘Delite-o-matic’, in an Adelaide shopping mall.
The machine is programmed to dish out Delights once a challenge has been performed.
Challenge accepted
While challenges started off simply (for example the pushing of a button 100 times), participants were gradually instructed to do everything from dance routines to bowing down to the machine for their free sample.
Technically challenged
Clemenger BBDO looked to the expertise of Adelaide production company Anifex in designing the vending machine and producing the supporting video campaign.
Nation-wide challenge
Fantastic delight’s Delite-o-matic campaign is making a substantial footprint with its YouTube video and online promotion, where consumers can play a virtual version of the vending machine for prizes.
The Delite-o-matic is currently making its way around the country, with locations available on Fantastic Snack's Facebook page.
