Twitter really wants tweeters to keep chatting with one another. Last month Twitter announced that GIFs could be sent in direct messages.
Now videos can be added as well.

To use the new feature, you must press the “camera” button. This will then give you the option of recording either a video or taking a photo.
Once recorded, your video is set to upload to your direct message.
Let’s talk about it
The update comes as Twitter boosts its already active roster of trials and new features.
Over the past months Twitter’s seen new timelines being tested, rolled out the “heart” icon, and is toying with 10,000 word tweets.
Yet whether this has any effect on Twitter’s stagnating user growth remains to be seen.
The video update is now being rolled out across iOS and Android.
