Snapchat has just rolled out Suggest, a feature that helps you find new accounts, and hopefully more followers.
Suggestive search
To access Suggest, go to the Stories list and tap on a user's name.
This brings up a blue arrow, which allows you to send the account to other users.
Your friends will be alerted via private Chat message about the Suggestion, along with info about the suggested user's name, handle, and profile GIF.
If they pass muster, they can be followed through the Add button.
Closing the gap
The feature fills a gap in Snapchat's somewhat threadbare eco-system.
Until now there wasn't a clear or easy way to attract more followers on Snapchat, unlike Twitter or Facebook.
The Suggest feature could change this, and be especially useful for brands who may ask their followers to Suggest them to friends.
