If 2016 was when video took over social, 2017 is shaping up as the year everyone scrambles to make their own TV shows.
According to reports, Facebook is next cab off the rank.

Facebook is set to launch dozens of TV-style shows this month, with plenty more in the pipeline.
As it cranks up its content production gears, Facebook is looking to create a mix of short, low-fi videos that will update daily, and higher-budget productions more like traditional TV series.
It’s getting crowded in here
While Facebook has dominated video and live streaming, it will face stiff competition from established heavy hitters Netflix and Amazon.
Plus Snapchat, Twitter, and YouTube are all racing to pump out their own on-demand content.
Either way, it means a bunch more viewing options will soon be upon us. How watchable they are remains another matter.
