Having launched their self-serve Ads Manager back in May, Snapchat is now expanding the offering with an Advanced Mode more suited to power users.
Advanced features
The new mode promises a bunch of features that experienced ad managers will appreciate. These include
- an audience library, to save reusable target definitions
- a media library, to make it quick and easy to create ad variants from base assets
- a permutation builder that promises to automate the creation and combination of variant for multiple campaigns
The ability to create campaigns in bulk from spreadsheet could also save pros quite a bit of time.
Power editor to woo pro users
As pointed out by TechCrunch, many of these features will seem familiar to folks who are already au fait with Facebooks Power Editor.
And why not? These features will appeal to professional online ad managers. That will make companies take another look at the potential benefits of advertising on Snapchat.
Oh, and for those who are tempted to give it a tilt, the new reporting options will make it easier to write up your ROI.
Now that Snapchat’s getting serious about monetisation, do you expect to be giving it more of your online spend?
